Anime/Manga.

The cartoons are very important in my life.  When I was a child, I saw all day cartoons, especially Japanese cartoons, because there were more violent with lot scenes of action and the histories are funnier than American cartoons. My favorite Japanese anime (In Japan the cartoons are called animes and the comics called manga) was Slam Dunk, because the protagonist Hanamishi Sakuragi was very ridiculous and rebel. He was rejected for different women fifty times in two years, it was hilarious. He enter to study to Shohoku institute and meet Haruko, he felt in love, AGAIN, and try to conquer her join him to basketball team of the school.
When I was younger the internet was slow, so I can’t download the animes, so I have to seen in television, especially in two channels: Chilevision, and ETC TV. I always frustrated, because, I can’t see the final of this animes, except with Dragon Ball GT.  For example I saw five times Slam Dunk, with the hope that the stories continues, but neither. Later, when I was a teenager I’ll found out, that the anime was cancelled in japan and if I knew the end of the anime I had to read the manga. Because in japan, all the animes were manga first.

The mangas are a different world than anime, because are more explicit and less censured in contents. For example in the Manga Great Teacher Onizuka, we can see the protagonist using drugs and try to take advantage of young girls, but in the anime he didn’t  use drugs and he was a regular boy with the girls. That’s sounds rough, buts its very fun and you laugh a lot.

Mixed Feelings

I have mixed feelings about environmentalism, because I know if I do simple things, like separate my garbage I could help a little to this world issue. But the real problem, it’s a capitalism problem.  The same multinationals, who destroy the world, try to sell us a healthy way of life, buying organic products and other stuff, but this didn’t change the world, only help to repercussion the system. That’s called: cultural capitalism.
So I don’t do much for environment, but I try to walk a lot, because it’s fun, it’s a good exercise and you can fix in things, that not always put your eyes.  I hate the cars; I think are the biggest problem in this polluted city, so I prefer to take the bus.
When I was younger, I like the activities of Greenpeace, because they always been in the television saving whales and trying to defend the world. But now, I disagree with this organization, because they do only for their interest and after all their actions are symbolic. These organizations aren’t the solution. The solution, it’s the communitarian organization, building constructions and thinks who reduce our carbon footprint.

The cities can be building, with technology decrease the pollution. It’s true that the initial costs are more expensive, than the usual constructions, but this inversion in the time, it’s cheaper and friendly with the environment. It’s depends of the states, subsidy and create political governmental to combat this global problem.

Millacura it's guilty

In one of the journeys of social protest in Chile, for free and quality education was killed by a police man, a teenager of fourteen years old called Manuel Gutierrez. He was seeing the barricades the night of the twenty six of august in the low-income-income neighborhood called Jaime Eyzaguirre. The Cop who shouted called Miguel Millacura, was judged by the military fiscally, because in Chile the military forces, has a different type of justice than the civil people.
The Military court sentenced that Millacura was found guilty for the murder of Manuel Gutierrez, but the sentence said, he was to do three years and sixty one days with vigilance liberty.  The accomplice of the murder Manuel Gutierrez was the sub-lieutenant Claudia Iglesia, she was condemned, because she helped to cover up of the crime, but the judge deicide condemned, absolve her. The judges in Chile are very strange.
For me, the sentence it’s an awful joke. Millacura kill a young boy, his abuse of his position of power and shoot without fear of punishment.  Besides, he tried to hide the evidence of his trigger, hidden and manipulating his gun, to make innocent. It’s not possible after more than twenty years of finished the Military dictatorship of Pinochet, exist two kinds of justice, like their if two kinds in this country, the militaries and the civil people.

The wolf.

Martin Scorsese’s last film, called: The Wolf of  Wallstreet, it’s like  the old Martin Scorsese. When I mean: ‘the old Scorsese’ I mean, the director of greatful movies, like: Taxi driver, Ranging Bull and Goodfellas.
The article in fact, is a review of this film. It’s very interesting, because the author Xan Brooks not only speaks about the storyline, instead he talk about the changes and similarities in this film with the rest of filmography. Therefore, if you want understand, you should to see, the latest movies of this director.  An example of that, it’s when he said: “it is, put simply, a pantomime GoodFellas, played largely for laughs, with DiCaprio in the Ray Liotta role and Jonah Hill installed as a cuddlier version of Joe Pesci”.

There are so many references about the rise and resounding falls, in the cinematography of Scorsese. But in this case, it’s not about the mafia; instead it’s about the financial heart of America: Wallstreet. Leonardo DiCaprio is the protagonist, he talk to the camera and we can see his transformation from a common employed who try to win money to a demented financial speculator, addict to the money, drugs and sex and everything was illegal. The film holds in the performance of DiCaprio. He’s a machine addict to adrenalin even when his world felt apart.
